Have you ever

Globally space industry is booming in terms of both Space Exploration and Space Tourism. Firstly, Space Exploration is becoming more advanced day by day. Most nations and companies are focussing on deep space missions and targeting to land on Mars. This race between nations/companies requires cutting-edge technology. As of now, the Mars round trip takes 15-18 months.  Rocket technology is not just all in achieving deep space missions. Nutritious food is also very very important, we say it's the primary requirement. Space tourism is just taking off. These small trips will become day trips gradually.  Whether you explore or experience, food is the primary requirement. For information, the Indian Space industry is growing at a CAGR of 48%. The global space industry will hit 1.4 $ Billion market by 2030, says Bank of America.

Objective

The main objective of this course is to promote space sciences among Indian school students. Moreover, this course gives them a good understanding of the wide range of topics in Space Sciences. The main intention for diversifying the topics in this course is to introduce them to exciting topics primarily uncovered in the school curriculums.

But why Space Sciences?

Some branches of Space Sciences are the oldest sciences and that are most people got fascinated by from early ages. We are always fascinated to know the unknown and driven to explore the unexplored. Our eagerness to explore the boundaries made us believe the sky is not the limit.

Space Explorations helps us to find the fundamental questions of our existence to discover the root causes of life. As per the Times of India, If you are among those who dream of making their mark in the field of space, you are in luck. Space exploration and related careers are an ever-expanding area with great potential for numerous future career specializations.

We say
Instead of mom's moon story,
let's introduce your kid to the cosmos story..
Space Sciences fosters love for learning!!!

This subject encourages kids to love learning, creates curiosity in them, and allows them to explore, question, and wonder. Developing an interest in science will be made easier with this program. Astronomy tasks conducted with children will undoubtedly result in additional questions regarding how and why everything works, since children are inquisitive by nature. It is easy to go from looking at the stars to talking about evolution or gravity.

The importance of science does not end with school grades and university admissions. It has been shown to help develop many other skills - such as verbal reasoning, logic, vocabulary, and literacy - that your child will benefit from as he or she progresses in life.

As well as holding a number of benefits for intellectual development in children, astronomy can also boost emotional development, improving a child’s independence and self-esteem.

Astronomy can be an excellent way for your child to learn about the world around them.

Our understanding of the cosmos can be enhanced by studying other planets and understanding how physics works under conditions that can't be replicated here on earth. Astronomy is a science that utilizes the entire universe as a laboratory!

During the course of SpaceKiddo at SpaceSkool, kids will be exposed to physics, math, computer science, critical thinking, and problem solving skills.

Why study at SpaceSkool?
  • With our pioneering & fascinating approach to space education, we are in the forefront for offering space education to school students & university students.

  • At SpaceSkool, students and researchers can build their career in space sciences background.

  • By retaining curiosity in kids, our proficient instructors will teach them.

  • Our materials are designed and authored by our experts using real life examples and simple activities tailored to the grade level of your child.

  • As an Institute, we strive to create an environment that allows students to ask questions rather than just give answers; we believe that this is the best approach to teaching.

What's the scope for Space Sciences in India?
But,
Where are we in the global race?

India's space sector has made tremendous growth over the decade. Our advances in space programmes have been highly remarkable

Global Space Industry

Global Space economy is valued at USD 370 Billion in 2021 and is expected to reach USD 642 billion by 2030 with CAGR of 6.3%, as per the findings by renowned consulting firm EuroConsult.

This growth is enabled by growing demand for space-based services, lowering of costs, miniaturization and access to technology, liberal funding and enabling regulations around the world.

The revenue consists of the space market (USD 337 Bn in 2021) which includes commercial space revenues and government procurement for their space activities contracted to the private sector and other spending from government organizations (USD 33 Bn) to conduct their space activities (internal costs and R&D).

This growth is enabled by growing demand for space-based services, lowering of costs, miniaturization and access to technology, liberal funding and enabling regulations around the world.

India in the picture :

India, at present accounts for about 2% of global space economy. The sector in India consists of key government entities & various private players including established firms as well as start-ups.

There are ~500 private companies operating in the space technology sector in India. The Indian Space-tech start-up ecosystem is also booming, with over 100 active Indian space-tech start-ups.

Moreover, efforts have been put in towards revising the space policies including the FDI policy by the Government for the space sector to spur the growth of private sectors, increase industry's share in the Indian Space and global space market.

Opportunities and others :
  • Indian Space industry is growing the CAGR of 48%. (As per the IBEF,Ministry of Commerce & Industries,Govt. Of India)

  • Antrix Corporation expects the industry to grow up to $50 billion by 2024 if provided with appropriate policy support.(Source : Wikipedia)

  • The investments will fuel the future of the space industry, which Bank of America says could reach $1.4 trillion by 2030.26-Oct-2021. (Source :AXIOS.COM).
